Another night another DJ gig, just me in the DJ booth, last night at Death Disco they asked me to turn the music down! Are you crazy! Nobody asks a DJ to keep the music down, and it's happened twice in the same place! For those who don't want it loud, get some ear plugs baby!
So I want to add my new favourite bands this week is A Place To Bury Strangers & Ipso Facto.
A Place to Bury Strangers are from NY, and are inspired by some of the best bands ever, pure Jesus & Mary Chain to The Raveonttes who by the way have their new album Lush Lush Lush out on Fierce Panda Records on 5th Nov, they've also just announced a new UK tour, www.myspace.com/theraveonettes.
Ipso Facto instead are 4 delicious ladies from London way, they are seduction, dark elegant, misfits, a class of medieval lyric poets troubordours of style! What else can I say, they are amazing, and they will be playing at Electric Youth on 15th Dec here in Milan.
