No Show MIKA!!!

Looking Thrilled after having waited for MIKA to show up!

Why is it that people who often become super successful or famous often forget they are human like the rest of us mere mortals? Manners go out the window and in come primadonna makeovers with close behaviour resemblances to a 2 yr old who isn't getting his way! Or is it just that they truly believe that they now have super powers, that they no longer need to do the things they had to do to get to where they are now? And just where is that exactly?
In this particular case I am rambling on about the pop world's newest brightest star, Mr. MIKA; oh yes the young lad born in Beirut who when the Gulf War struck was forced to move to London with British father and Syrian born mother, who talks candidly about the hardships of moving school to be enrolled at the exclusive French Lycee in Knightsbrige!! Must have been dreadful! Where by the way he was bullied so babdly that he had to leave and be schooled at home before then moving to yes another private school Westminster..... well as a privately educated lady myself I know all about the hardships of private school life, and it is not as hard as MIKA has liked us to believe...... but he is obviously still scarred and taking his hidden anger out other of us innocent who don't go round with a solo violin soundtrack in the background!

Friday morning I set off for Turin with the My-Tv crew, I have been asked to interview MIKA for a special live webchat for Virgilio & Telecome, Italy's major internet search engine and telephone company, we are scheduled to go online at 16.00 Mika will be asked a series of question from others who are connected to the web and can talk in real time, and absolutely brilliant and innovative idea, as it can literally reach thousands of people in minutes. The interview is to take place at the Mazda Palace in Turin where MIKA is performing that night. It's early, the crew have been working already for 3 days scouting the location, setting up all the technical aspects and working hard to connect us online, finally all is ok, tests are done, I write my intro, and then we are told MIKA will be delayed 30mins, fine, no problem. Another 30mins, we are told that MIKA has decided he needs to sleep, having driven in the bus over from Barcelona the night before, he couldn't get much rest and so wants to pass by the hotel and wants to come at 6 instead, 2 hrs late!!! To the final decision MIKA decides to cancel, MIKA then decides not to cancel, MIKA then asks if we just want a sinple interview, and we don't!!!!

It's such a shame when a young man like MIKA at the age of 25, who happens to write shit songs, thinks he will win or exceed his fan base like that, he needed to give his fans 60mins of his day, and that is too much, too hard, yet he expects and hopes that thay will give him their money, their time and energy......

I wasted a whole day paying my nanny to look after my lovely daughter who I didn't see for hours, just cause one lame pop star who was probably partying all night on his bus, which by the way is probably very comfortable couldn't be bothered to maintain arrangement he had made for what he thinks wont make any difference from his career.

He is no doubt very wrong, and soon people wont even care to ask him the question he so likes to dismiss are you gay or straight? No I'm just a primadonna wanker!
