It had been five long straight-edged days, keeping slim on the dairy, caffeine and oh yes the ol'booze as in NO booze for friggin' 5 days, have to admit I was feeling amazing, and my skin has been looking radiant, so I weighed up the options and think no booze is a totally doable lifestyle solution........just not every night right?

So Friday is the night to party, apart from the fact it still remains my favourite day of the week!They don't call me a Libra for nothing! Julie came over round 8, by 8.05 we were drinking champagne and gossiping like a bunch of old ladies, only with cigarettes a'plenty. Amelia & I definitely felt a buzz after the first glass! We headed over to my favourite bar in the city- Cape Town. The lovely Sergio who runs and owns the place called it after the place he lived for some years. They make the meanest Bloody Mary's, and oh, I was up for some of that! Cheese platters and more cocktails arrived as so did Teresa, Barry, Micheal & Marie who had some catching up to do......At around 1am, we headed over to Bond where my friend Marcelo throws his popular weekly night PINK IS PUNK. We danced and we danced and we danced! we met a Korean girl called 'Whiskey' who did the splits for us and tortured her body into various uncomfortable positions!! Amazing!! We love Marcelo's Dj sets-banging out were sounds of The Presets, Justice & Simian Mobile Disco......X N
